  9. Dan, January 27, 2009 at 17:38

magic mix. first 10 mins don’t really do it for me, but the tunes & layering & flow is sublime. subtle blends.

  10. NickM, January 27, 2009 at 20:09

    deeeeeeeeeep!!!!!!!

  11. BMK, January 27, 2009 at 20:37

Dont get me wrong, I love D-bridge and instrumental. However not into this mix. In the words of austin powers – Not really my bag baby!!!

Might be nice to listen to when falling asleep or smoking something something but just doesn’t hit the spot for me!

Nice diversity though…. I wouldn’t call alot of this dnb, its a merge of dubstep, drum and bass and hip hop, maybe ‘Dubass-hop’. Im trend setting there, you watch it will soon be called that. hahahahaha *jokes**

Definitely feelin’ this. Keep on bringin’ it!

  42. Magda O!, February 2, 2009 at 19:46

    WOW!!!

As cliche as it sounds. This to me in the new drum n bass. This is the fucking future.

This is what it means to progress a sound.

    Goosebump central.

D-Bridge & Instra:mental never ever ever let down.

  43. intarunner, February 2, 2009 at 22:55

I totally agree, this is the most emotional encapsulating music in DnB since 1994 and the days of GLR/MS etc…

  45. Stumbley John, February 4, 2009 at 20:19

Loving the diversity esp. Jimmy Edgar ‘Heart Beat Sexual’

    nice change-up!

  46. intarunner, February 4, 2009 at 21:38

and that ghetto tech thing (3rd tune) bad bad baaaaad :D

heard them guys together are starting a new night too!

  47. backarts, February 4, 2009 at 22:00

ok,ok, ok – enough of the glory
it is a great unusual mix, but for me the first 10 min. or so are terrible !

  48. backarts, February 4, 2009 at 22:06

i meant first 3 tracks – electro detroit disco or whatever- maybe must be on the right trip for this stuff than it works

  49. Evolve, February 4, 2009 at 22:06

    Amazing.

  50. SirDrinksAlot, February 5, 2009 at 20:25

Above Words & Translucent — stand out tracks, works of genius

  51. fonik, February 6, 2009 at 17:28
  52. Anonymous, February 9, 2009 at 10:39

    for the instramental heads…

there is an instramental interview with flight on her show,

mp3 link on this thread over at subvert central:

  53. NordMann, February 11, 2009 at 21:05

dBridge has surpassed itself, very emotional, very intellectual sounding. I in delight!

  54. viceversarohan, February 16, 2009 at 10:49

Baaaad mix. Instramental and DBridge are completely on it. You can really hear the quality coming through in Instramental’s tunes because they only use analogue gear. It shows. They get their sound by not using shitty software synths. True to the craft.

The reason so many people say this is the future is because its pushing drum and bass some where it hasn’t been comfortable in ages…into the background. Its not just ‘dance’ music any more. Its simply – music. No need for hats in the intro, no need for formulaic break downs and progressions. And absolutely NO need for Pendusnares.

Drum and bass has restricted itself for the past few years to just clubs and dancefloors. WE might not think that, but the general populous does. When we remember that there are more people out there who like to listen to music while working, talking a walk or just to calm them down in traffic, the music becomes relevant again.

  55. viceversarohan, February 17, 2009 at 06:18

by the way, Above Words is awesome but its impossible not to think of ‘Can I Be Free From Crying’ when I hear that sample!

  56. Magda O!, February 18, 2009 at 17:40

    13.5 – 38:58 / 0:40:05 – (Tease)
    14 – 0:41:12 / 0:44:13 – Plus Ultra ‘ ‘ (Dub)

    this needs to be remedied.

    *sends smoke signals to g-d*
