    damn! nice! an essential mix nonetheless…. its gotta be solid

    although i’m still sticking with my opinion that SCUBA is the best producer / DJ in the dubstep game !

    Excellence all the way, taking things forward.

  8. EHO, June 27, 2007 at 21:04

    The tune at 27 minutes is rad. Anyone know which one that is?

    Without knowing anything about dubstep, this tracklist makes it look like Skream is the only Dubstep producer out there. Way to Bogart the essential mix, ha!

  9. EHO, June 27, 2007 at 21:08

    Make that the tune at 19 minutes that’s rad… have no idea where 27 minutes came from!

    @ECHO, umm….thats the point of an essential mix to show case a talented producer and their tracks…not too mention he is one of the founding fathers of dubstep, that alone is enough to warrant a little self promotion…

    There are literally thousands of people discovering and producing their own take on dubstep. As with dnb you can pretty much find any sort of style of music referenced within it. That creativity by they producers will ensure that this music will be around for a long while. That and wicked hard kicks and basslines!

    whoooooo hooooo! that’s heat right there.

  22. Breaksblog HQ, July 12, 2007 at 15:53

    TBH i think 90% of the tunes in the mix donto come close to midnight request line, first skream ep etc.
    too much jumpy wobble styles – dmz + few others do far superior bits imo.

  23. cream, July 13, 2007 at 19:23

    @Breaksblog HQ:
    90%? what u talking bout ? he drops one top tune after another!!!

    Skream – ‘2D’ !!!
