Seems quite brutal to be shown on daytime tv but i suppose Prodigy have never been one to shy away from things that ought not be shown to minors!

    I thought it was great!

  2. Marius G.M, September 23, 2005 at 16:53

what a weak video edit of the tune, the vocal doesn’t fit and that double snare kills the groove imo, but hey i hope this gets played a lot!

  3. TradEmarx, September 23, 2005 at 21:04

    video sucks, song sucks

    pendulum can fuck off

  4. Tim, September 23, 2005 at 21:49

    word :D

  5. Future Genetics, September 23, 2005 at 21:58

I’m gonna have nightmares about this

  6. soundsurfer, September 23, 2005 at 22:22

pendulum really messing up bigtime. first tarantula, now the holy grail of all tunes.

  7. Sasa, September 23, 2005 at 23:16

i don’t think so. is this an motorola ad??

  8. lekke, September 24, 2005 at 08:56

I am afraid I have to disagree with my fellow colleague Soundsurfer; Pendulum messing up bigtime? Definitively not music wise. With things like this video etc I don’t think its ALL up to them these days… Since they’ve made quite a crossover and made a lot of the non-dnb public start paying attention, it’s safe to say some decisions have been taken over by “the industry”. The industry is hungry for money, and some things need to be compromised to be appealing to the general public. I don’t like the audio edit, don’t think much of the video either (come on, how many times do people have to hit those columns?!) but I’ve got nothing but superlatives for the album, the remixes and basically anything Pendulum do lately. I know what it is to sit in front of a sequencer, trying to make a decent sounding loop of two bars, spending hours and not really going anywhere… and then listening from the begining till the end ANY of their tunes… My point being – sorry for the rant – don’t be dissing them, it’s not entirely up to them anymore. Voodoo people is owned by the Prodigy you know… or even XL or whatever label. As for Pendulum’s music, I strongly believe even some finer beats are on the horizon.. and can only hope the boys keep doing the good work they do. Tarantula isn’t all that bad, its a very creative tune once you get to LISTEN to it.

  9. soundsurfer, September 24, 2005 at 10:44

well, production-wise they are great, no doubt about it. they do have some great bits (like “still grey”), but my point was that these kinda tunes (tarantula, voodoo people rmx) really do seperate listeners by sounding rather funny (kinda clownsteppy like), which turns off most people. voodoo people is a great tune, by adding the pendulum flavour to it some people (like me) aren’t happy about it, yet it’s party appeal is amazing.
me personally I don’t like tarantula that much, but i guess that’s just me.

thats one of the most badass videos!!! heheheehe… justifies the song- i’ve always been iffy about this tune, but shit, seems hardcore with video.

  11. Future Genetics, September 24, 2005 at 16:49

Bottom line is that we need artists like Pendulum to get people to take notice of dnb as a whole, even if they themselves aren’t the best example of what dnb is capable of.

so, yall didnt like the video? i thot it was great; even tho every dj is playing that tune and all my friends around me keep saying “hackers” when i play a set with this song….

  14. Cuntus, September 25, 2005 at 20:08

    nice tune.. shit video

  15. pathetic, September 26, 2005 at 11:12

What a load of crap worse direction I’ve seen for ages, completely put me off the tune this music video does’nt do this track any justice seeing dumb rude boy plebs running around the street like a load of dullards is one of the reasons I’ve gone off dnb hardly inteligent is it?

  16. DJ Strafe, September 26, 2005 at 20:43

The Video was pretty rubbish really.. badly directed and not particularly impressive. Why does this version of the tune sound so different from the one Ive got on promo, the promo one is better, the video one seems badly edited.
Pendulum are wicked but they will need to start changing their sound if they want to keep peeps interest.

  17. kenobiben, September 27, 2005 at 09:23

What can i say, its an comercial video. Prodigy are about to start touring and promote their law – collection. This video is going to give a Pendulum a quite new start for them. But i thing they lost the global dnb audience. Cause its going comercial. Mates there are a lot of artist that are doing the same stuff, i also love pendulum, maybe i deespize their new way of getting to the charts, but no matter what, we have to give them respect and support for what have they don till now. They are one of us. Bassheadz, junglist, just you know every single one of us is caught up by the root of all evil.

  18. TheMan, October 8, 2005 at 09:11

    Prodigy music was always crap.

its the live performance that kept them alive.

Voodoo people is basically a mishmash of other artists music, just like all prodigy music.

  19. AJ, October 10, 2005 at 07:40

    fuckin AWESOME
    best set ever.

  20. mad dog mick, October 10, 2005 at 20:14

    Experience:Expanded best album

  24. che, October 12, 2005 at 17:05

i have only just seen this video and it’s great although one major is very wrong, and that is videos being taken of the people who smacked into the concrete posts with a motorola v3, come on guys at xl and the producers, the v3 does not support video capture only playback. only a minor thing to forget but hoho they did :p

  25. Ross, October 12, 2005 at 23:39

i dont really care wat any1 says (xcept da few dat av said good tings) Pendulum rock, they are fukin xcellent, i agree wid future genetix as dnb is 2 underground, it needs 2 b honest, ppl at college think im crazy coz all i listen 2 is dnb, so 2 piss evry1 off i played lots of dnb out of my car an my boom box out inda middle of college (fukin awsum – cant spell) but anyways i fink da video is jokes an i love da prodigy, rave music is gettin old, but wen prodigy is bout it’ll neva dissapear! as 4 pendulum i tink they shld think bout more tune production than remixes, but never the less this tune is xcellent an no1 shld cuss it down, well down pendulum i bow down 2 ya (an also speakin of which Pendulum – slam is fukin xcellent the video is jokes as well – hey there VIDEOS ARE GETTIN NOTICED PPL!!!!!!!!!)

  26. R@Yd, October 14, 2005 at 12:06

:((File Transfer: Expire !!! PLZZZ me a nother link!!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!plzzzz

  27. Faby, October 15, 2005 at 20:21

yes, i agree with all of you….the video is crap.but…show a little respect to pendulum.i think their tunes are big, bad n heavy(that includes the voodoo people rmx).
but their way to get dnb into charts really sux.
i can say im a real junglist….listening to it since ’94….but there are too many “new-junglist”…all those junkies who think “hey…i do drugs….no i have to listen to dnb”….i hate those m*************… afraid dnb i s getting mainstream…..:(

  28. Faby, October 15, 2005 at 20:22

by the way…my promo of voodoo people rmx is also different from the video-version!

  29. Chronic, November 7, 2005 at 14:55

‘Spiral’ – ‘Vault’ – ‘Voyager’ – all sick tunes!!
any1 no whether ‘Planet Orion’ is actually by pendulum??? as is also a good tune..
As for the pendulum voodoo RmX they promo is much better sounding and if you’ve heard this tune played loud/live you will love it.
keep up the heavy tunes BBKaos

  30. flexoduss, November 11, 2005 at 01:43

fuck you all its a fucking great vid :D and it has some great sound

  31. Bobophet, November 12, 2005 at 02:02

I love the remix but the video blows.

  32. unom, November 30, 2005 at 16:33

hey everybody here sucks. The Prodigy is the best electro-punk-rock ever. Those guys influenced the world of music. So, shut up. You didnt hear nothing. You all are def.
“prodigy sucks, pendulum sucks” – what do you all know ’bout music, ha? you are just kids or shit-hole rappers, or dj what sucks playing around with house and stuff.
SHAME ON YOU – The Prodigy is the best music act ever. It is a revelation after the Punk-Rock era. It’s a thing. Unfortunately, you dont even need to take place to this.

  33. mu-sic, December 7, 2005 at 00:57

The Video is a straight rip off of a film called Intacto.
    Fits nice though.
Pendulum, the remix, and the video rock in my opinion. D&B gets stronger and better. Kind of evolution
Glad to see Prodigy back in such good company.

  34. Mad Dawg, December 12, 2005 at 03:21

Video is a bit odd but its a wicked tune. pendulums new album is great, such a diverse selection of tunes…. Ladies and Gentlemen, Fasten Your Seatbelts!!!

  35. Jonboy, December 13, 2005 at 01:53

y’all got food for thought – good original song, good video but putting the two together doesn’t work as well as I would have expected. Prodigy deserve respect for advancing music a generation and Pendulum are quite good for a bunch of Aussies. Ka kite ano.

  36. adepompey, December 14, 2005 at 05:01

the videos shit, the tunes been edited 4 the video, but….its a class tune and all u cunts out der dissin dis tune r tone deaf. big up pendulum, shout out to prodigy. by the way ave u heard the sub focus rmx to smack my bitch up? its the b side, and its even better!! listen to it.

  37. Mlouzel, December 22, 2005 at 20:18

Love The Song, and Looooove The Video

  38. brouzer, December 27, 2005 at 10:26

  39. Sarah, January 7, 2006 at 11:58

haven’t seen the vid (cos my comp is a pieece of shit), but I think the new edit of Voodoo People is awesome… yeah, that’s all… just thought i’d share!! ;o)

  40. Goops, February 11, 2006 at 13:57

Great Song, Great Video. Check out the film “Intacto”, as the whole idea of blinfolded runners is borrowed from that film. Awesome IMO.

  41. fede, February 20, 2006 at 00:53

un grande video che lascia senza parole davvero eccitante

  42. keke, February 26, 2006 at 21:03

i think prodigy are brilliant and wotever anyone else says about them it dust matter it is a good song pendulum are alrite at least ther tryin and usin prodigy is a good idea cuz they are loved by so many!!

  43. Mile Perin drugar, April 29, 2006 at 01:17

Hello.I just want to say that Pendulum is not an artists but rather a track by some guy called Dark Nebula.Latter on a TRACK became an artist. The persons involving in that project actually do not exist.I know all of this because I am a very close friend of Vera.So basicly its a trip.

  44. rollo, April 29, 2006 at 09:50

whatever mate. pendulum come from perth in western australia.

  45. Bastard, May 25, 2006 at 20:39

The idea behind the video is really cool, good script, but really really bad directing fucked it all up: it should be way more violent, people should really die and in alot more different ways, and the edit of the tune is the worst one I know, the 3:43 version I have is alot stronger sounding.

  46. Kel, June 29, 2006 at 18:28

saw Pendulum live a few weeks back in Brum. Absolutely fantastic. They are real and all those wankers who say they are shit need to Fuck Off.

  47. Edward, September 1, 2006 at 10:51

I like the original Prodigy song, and I like the Pendulum remix better. It’s a shame that the remix has been edited for the video, the real version sounds so much better. Either way a wicked song

  48. jamie, September 17, 2006 at 19:35

  49. Boyd, November 2, 2006 at 16:07

I’m jus well tired of people sayin “Oh yeah, im well into Drum n Bass.” Then when i ask “aaah cool. So, who d’ya like?” They jus go “Pendulum”
Ok.. cool. Anyone else? They can’t name a single other artist. Pendulum is jus commercial tame shit. They were actually good before they sold out.

  50. Flee, January 26, 2008 at 22:11

    Great video, great mix.
If you to hear who Pendulum are ripping off then you really should start listening to some real tunes. Try “Time Stretch” by Hyper On Experience, or any of there tunes as a matter of fact, real ’92 dnb.
You might like to sample some Sonz of a Loop da Loop Era. Danny Breaks, dnb pioneer, absolute Genius. Flowers in my Garden is an amazing EP/album.

  51. Selektemz, July 29, 2009 at 07:53

Pendulum?? haha what a joke, there is alot of real, awesome DnB out there, and not pendulum nor the prodigy have anyhting to do with it.

  52. JaZ, May 10, 2010 at 00:12

lol @ ‘Boyd’-had the exact same experience at a party last night, very depressing
