DJ Flight feat. Mc Deeizm @ breakbeat.co.uk 27/08/2008

Dj Flight

info: myspace.com/littlemissflight, live.breakbeat.co.uk, myspace.com/deeizmmc

If you missed Wednesday night’s set I did with Deeizm on D&BTV (courtesy of Drum & Bass Arena) here is a link to download the MP3.
I have to say it was quite a strange experience – I wasn’t really expecting to have the camera and bright lights focussed on us the way they were (that’ll teach me to be a little unprepared!), but I enjoyed it all the same. The video archive will be available at some point if any of you want to peep it, keep checking breakbeat.co.uk over the next day or so…

Deep, tribalistic drum and bass flavours and a couple of dubstep bits near the end rolled out by DJ Flight accompanied by the vocal talents of MC Deeizm. Having watched it live i must say that is was fantastic look for Drum and Bass. Mediocre soundquality, turning down the treble a notch might make this even more enjoyable.

deeizm is ok with this set, but she hears kind a sick or something… she speaks with her nose :x

  5. XOXOXOXO, September 3, 2008 at 20:42

“Data Process” is a *sick*, *sick*, *sick* tune. Honestly, Shelly D rips the mic harder than anyone I’ve heard in ages on that one.

  6. backarts, September 3, 2008 at 21:06

Had been a good mix without the mc

  7. Stupaj, September 4, 2008 at 13:14

The tune coming in at 37mins(ish) appears to be some very sick Radiohead remix! Tho its either not being identified in the t/l or its going by another name, not credited to Radiohead… Can anyone identify it?

  8. strawberry, September 4, 2008 at 15:05

could it be this track that featured in the Gerard-Furney recent breaksblog mix?

    Radiohead ‘Ideoteque’ D&B Remix (Dub)

I don’t know my Radiohead and haven’t listened to the Flight mix yet but could thisbe it??

  9. L Style, September 4, 2008 at 16:41

No. It isn’t the Idioteque Version from Radiohead. The Remix you mean sounds more like Roni Size “Brut Force” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2iRB2JM2vI

I think it’s Edward Oberon “Crawl” from the Tracklist because the tune before sounds Soul:R like. (S.T. Files – Cold Front)

    …or i’m wrong ;)

miss your 1xtra shows badly ,,they were the best in my opinion :(

Tho its either not being identified in the t/l or its going by another name, not credited to Radiohead… Can anyone identify it? i havent listened to mix yet but TC has done a pretty nice version of IDIOTEQUE by RADIOHEAD this was on the that furney mix mentioned just before,,

  12. Stunna, September 5, 2008 at 05:32

    the Radiohead-sampled track is
    ‘Crawl’ (Edward Oberon)

  16. D.EyE, September 7, 2008 at 18:08

    Don’t like the MC

Love the tunes! That one by Hiten and of course Bal ! sickage

  17. D.EyE, September 7, 2008 at 18:54

The MC is louder than the music ?!?! wtf is that all about……..

  18. seen, September 7, 2008 at 23:30

The mic levels were way off or Dee was having a bad night…either way I dunno, this one didn’t get me moving like I’d hoped. Sick tunes though. Always happy to hear the selecta like Flight

  19. tim, September 7, 2008 at 23:33

turning up the bass usually helps if you think the mc is too loud ..

  20. Rents, September 8, 2008 at 18:37

some wicked tunes in this one, notably the Redeyes opener and Naibu and Hydro – Data Process.

    bad stuff.

  21. Chiral Anomaly, September 10, 2008 at 14:41

Good to hear Digital revisiting some of his older style vibes.
Deeizms mic is a little too loud. A bit annoying.

  22. Marcio Martinez, September 12, 2008 at 21:24

    Calibre – Dont Mind … r0x…
