This mix was originally aired on STUNNA’s show ‘THE GREENROOM’ on bassdrive.com on January 3rd, 2007. STUNNA is live in the mix showcasing the talents of up-and-coming producer NAIBU (Breakin’/Bassbin – France).

Do not Miss!

Info on Naibu:
Hailing from the suburbs of Paris, France, NAIBU discovered Drum n Bass in the late 90’s. After being introduced to a sequencer by a friend, there was no turning back. With influences ranging from the sampler maestros of the 90’s: DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, Amon Tobin, and EL-P (amongst many others), to the depth of 70’s electronic and progressive music, NAIBU digs deep in the crates, refreshing old dust to make something completely original.

NAIBU’s debut release , a tune called “AKI”, backed with MARTSMAN’s “AEIRO”, is set to drop early 2007 on BASSBIN’s sister label BREAKIN’. Forthcoming projects for NAIBU include collaborations with Hungary’s finest production outfits TACTILE and SPINLINE, and also exciting new material alongside HYDRO of QUARANTINE and DNAudio fame.

  6. Отличный саунд… На счет самого микса сказать трудно, но то что звучание самих треков завораживает – это точно.. Просто магически

  7. Can’t get better than this wicked mix – highlight for me: Generic Generation from heavy rotation on BassDrive.com & the Stunman :)

Bigup Naibu for the tunage & bigup Chi for the mastery behind the wheels :)

  8. i can’t believe how intelligent are those tracks!
i am producing house and breaks, and i’m not deeply into d’n’b but this one here … this kicks ass!

  9. caught the original show…EXTREMELY impressed with the talent Naibu shows off with his tracks. just wow… some of the most intelligent, deep and beautiful stuff around right now. and if it wasn’t for Stunna and one of the best internet radioshows out there right now…I wouldn’t even had known who was making these tunes! thanks so much for showcasing him. i will be eagerly awaiting his releases, esp ‘Aki’.

(stuck this on my ipod for the ipod alarm clock and awoke to the beautiful sounds of Naibu :) )

  12. Hi !!! very nice set !!!!!!!

where can i get the song : and the story ends…………….

    ???? NEED HELP PLS !!!

  13. Just found out about this Naibu fellow in Fabio’s set when I heard Urban Sprawl. Made me feel psychotic. This set is pure gold. Big up to everyone involved!

  14. That kubatko Remix…..wicked wicked.

And all of them, this is what drum and bass is!! thank you naibu for making me realise that there is still a call for good music.

back in the studio for me

  15. Hmm, it seems that “It Took A Long Time” is now out on Creative Source, but it’s a bit different from the track named “It’s Gonna Take A Long Time” here. Does anyone know if the one that got released is simply the finalized version, or is the tune here some remix? I prefer the older version so it’d be nice to know more about it..

  16. Anyone know what happened with Aki? I just listened to this mix again this week and was ready to buy it, only to see that it’s never been released (?)

  17. Never mind – messaged Naibu and this is what he said:

ez, yes Aki’s gonna be released very soon, don’t know about a date yet, but it’s already on test press so I assume it shouldn’t take too long

    cheers :)

  18. Damn :( I would have liked to get it. Oh well. If it’s gonna be out on vinyl soon, that’s good. Maybe I ought to start my radio show soon so I don’t have to wait for tracks to be released ;)
