  14. Strafe, March 10, 2006 at 00:05

doesnt sound too bad considering the low bit-rate.. high class tunage as always from Da Intalex (ah that takes me back)… liking Martyn’s new tunes alot more than his first ones… also LOGISTICS – CITY LIFE @ 63.22mins what a tune!!!!!!!!!

  19. akrobat, March 10, 2006 at 01:10

    Thank you, Jesus.

I discovered the stream at the soulr site a week ago and had been tied to my computer since. Absolutely cannot stop listening to it. Have been desperately searching for a way to record streaming audio as mp3.
    Thank you breaksblog.

  20. Rad, March 10, 2006 at 14:31

    @ strafe

that tune at 63 minutes is a remix of gangstarr’s ‘moment of truth’ and not logistics – city life

  21. Rad, March 10, 2006 at 14:36

    btw what’s the tune @ 46 minutes?

  22. Strafe, March 10, 2006 at 16:24

sorry your wrong mate.. tune at 63.30 is Logistics

  23. MrQuito, March 10, 2006 at 16:44

    BIG!!! Tracklist anybody?

  24. Rad, March 10, 2006 at 17:12

@ strafe, i’m like 100% sure that the tune at 63 minutes is the dnb ‘remix’ of a hiphop tune called ‘momenth of truth’ from the legendary gangstarr ;) Take some time en listen to this hiphoppearl en then listen to the tune again… you’ll see i’m right! To hear ‘city life’ of logistics you have to listen to the set commix spinned at the herbal mate

  25. mr kovert, March 10, 2006 at 21:23

sweet mix irrespective of killa bit quality….

@TIM who these doods prenting friendly fire in berlin….have a london nite of the same name…….great minds and all that perhaps….o blatent plageurism : ]

  26. Robman, March 10, 2006 at 22:13

    @Rad
Fabio’s been playing the same tune. I susupect whoever made the tune probably used the same sample that premo uses rather than lifting it staright from ‘moment of truth’. Like to think so anyway. Both great tunes tho and ‘moment of truth is a great lp to boot.

  27. dualstandard, March 11, 2006 at 00:25

great mix! the last two tunes are deep as hell.. Has anyone managed to even come up with a tracklisting yet? come on! especially the last tune..

  29. Grington, March 11, 2006 at 11:14

  30. Grington, March 11, 2006 at 11:15

its going in right after 31 minuts..

  31. daga, March 11, 2006 at 11:18

Some nice bits to come from Soul:R, Smashing it as usual :-)

  32. lekke, March 11, 2006 at 11:59

well, based on style, i’d say the set starts with a tune by calibre. wasn’t able to id a single tune in the entire show, except for the obvious klute tune coming in at 24 (no idea whats it called by i’d bet my left arm its klute) and i’m pretty certain the “acid” tune at 40 mins is by Marcus himself

  33. dbr, March 11, 2006 at 17:12

second track is similar to makoto – take my soul baby. remix or smth.

  34. paroxysmal, March 12, 2006 at 16:52

not able to keep my fingers shut:

    more of these acid tunes!

  36. lekke, March 13, 2006 at 17:27

  49. KNUCKLES, March 15, 2006 at 16:24

    rené … !

  50. strafe, March 15, 2006 at 19:34

Really liking this acid style dnb that Marcus is playing ánd is being put out on his label (and also flight´s Play:music). wasnt massively keen on it at first but its really grown on me. liking Martyns new stuff and commix are producing some slightly different stuff recently too. All this diversity can only help the scene as the music takes on new influences and styles.. but lets not start giving them names though ey! its all drum & bass at the end of the day… the commix remix of tactile´s algebra is sweet and the flip (Domino by Motive) is pretty good too… I recommend pickin up the promo when it starts circulating this week!

Big up to the man Marcus and also Klute…. Look forward to hearting more mixes like this one.

  51. itchy_bum, March 16, 2006 at 15:11

  55. Force of Nature, March 18, 2006 at 07:26

That tune that drops at 64:05 is wicked. definitiely a heavy remix of moment of truth. White Hot!

  56. dee, March 20, 2006 at 17:08

is Do the Math some kind of calibre alias? that first tune sounds like Calibre is involved. If it isn’t Cali, someone has managed to capture his style and vibe bang on

  57. rollo, March 21, 2006 at 08:20

I have listened to this set alot and am still not sick of it ……. tis one of the best mixes I have heard in a while… cant wait for the MISTICAL LP which is apparently due in May :-))
