June Miller – FabricLive Promomix 03/2010

June Miller like their chicken fried haawt.

info: myspace.com/junemillerdnb , soundcloud.com/fabric

June Miller are one of a new breed of producers loosely attached to the drum & bass scene, but not allowing such a tag to clip their wings. These Dutch based producers make heart-swelling, emotionally charged electronic music at a range of tempos that tears up the rule book on style and structure. You really need to get to know their music.

Another journey through modern drum and bass music by June Miller. A great variety of artists and styles involved in this mix … freshness for the beardstrokers, modern sound diggers alike. Check out June Miller alongside loads of big names live at Fabric this saturday.

Tom, don’t be a knob. You’re allowed to have an opinion on something without actually being able to do it yourself. I love June Miller’s own tracks but this mix just ain’t happening.

    PS, shut the fuck up

  12. Tom, March 23, 2010 at 00:26

mate you’re allowed to dislike it but of course posting ‘this is total crap’ is going to get you called out! what don’t you like about it? lousy mixing? too mellow? as somebody who apparently likes their music they might actually want to hear about it.

and I figured you could mix because your username starts with dj…

surprised there aren’t many more comments for this one. i really enjoyed this mix.

Deep and fresh, killer mix. Neurosis is a damn sweet tune!

  15. Pipe, March 25, 2010 at 22:09

“You’re allowed to have an opinion on something without actually being able to do it yourself.”

well, if you drop something as base and inflamitory as “This is total crap”, without bothering to qualify it or prove it is in anyway your “opinion” is informed, don’t be surprised when you are called out.

… or just be another random internerd a-hole who can’t be bothered to post anything interesting or insightful.

I finally got to hear a few of these tunes on the big sound system last night when we brought Teebee in to Pittsburgh. Sick!

Also, we got to hear some brand spanking new tunes that have never been played out before and I must say everyone is in for a treat in the next coming months. DNB is well and alive! :)
