  1. I found this on dnb-sets.de just yesterday… random movement is one of my favourite liquid producers right now. Yes i said LIQUID!
Mixing may not be his strong point, but he certainly makes up for it with some amazingly good tunes. Bigup!

  2. top notch producing, from the C-Bus resident, only getting better & better, “student” a bad bad twune

  3. Is this set live as in he’s playing to a live audience or is he modifying and editing and the sort as he’s playing cause i know he does that sometimes.

nice one 4 providing the music we love

  4. @Dibble

there are several rewinds, what else should it be than `real` live-mixing in front of a crowd? Btw, the mixing is awful (my favourite drop is at 32:55), even Fabio could’ve done that better, lol

    Anyway, Random Movement kicks ass!

  5. hmm i thought sometimes he does what artists like amit and raiden do in which samples are played live, NM. i think his mixing’s pretty tight, his selection makes up 4 the few dodgy blends which are probly jus cause hes playing 2 fast. lovely set still

  6. Ez man!!! Unfortunatelly u cant come to brazil, but this set have the real brazilian vibes!!!!!

    Sincerelly

    Wes from Brazil

  7. YES YES FINALLY a mix, from the force Random Movement, who have totally killed it since arriving on the scene, and 2007 was definitely no exception… Keep up the good work…Looking fwd to 2008!!!

    Thanks for linking this
    Cheers

  8. Great selection, some nice old ones.
Not so great mixing, but in a club I wouldn’t notice.
(if it were a studio/radio mix then different story)
    Anyways..
What be the last 4 tracks? They were really good (its always with the unnamed, they sound better :)

  9. Random Movement is on fire!

I did sound for him DEMF 2004 and he smashed it. Keep the good tunes coming!

  10. Sweet Mix. Sweet Tunes.

The only slight problem is the volume levels are unbalanced between some tracks. But still, this mix is damn tasty….

  11. Fucking nice. RM has been one of my favorites since Stars in the Dark. Wicked works inside this mix, albeit a bit dodgetastic on the mixing tip. Doesn’t make me love it any less tho.

    Biggups from MD.

  12. I lasted 20 minutes before I had to turn it off. This is honestly some of the worst mixing I have ever heard.

Thank fuck he makes such awesome tunes! :P

  13. incredible stuff

CLS – Criplet Emotion [Critical] is the track

    Is this set live ?

    what is this? never seen

    13. Marky & Makoto – Impulse [??]
    19. Marky & Makoto – Impulse

  14. “have heard great things about this guy, what better way to hear his tunes too”

He’s an excellent producer and highly creative and talented individual.

Try talking to him about collecting music though and he’s got a HUGE chip on his shoulder. Dude thinks he’s the end-all, be-all of R&B and Soul crate diggers.

  15. By the way – for those of you bagging on his mixing – remember that this is live!

When you’ve got a massive monitor or even a small monitor that can bang out loud as hell, you can’t possibly have all levels perfect.

All you care about is that the crowd is having a good time.

Listen to one of Fabio’s club sets sometime. His mixing is sometimes unbearably bad if you’re listening to it after the fact…but the crowd loves it, and that’s all that matters.

  16. methinks you may be confusing just the skatty nature of the beats with sloppy mixing. listened to the same 20 mins and cant hear the awful slips you talk of mr i dubs.

    where’s your mix?

  17. 04. ? (bootleg)

Its a remix of LTJ Bukem “Coolin Out”, which was on the first Logical Progression unmixed cd.

Great remix! I wonder if he did it?
    Anybody know?

  18. was a fucking lovely set!!!

random movement killed it every time he has played in indy!

one of my favorite ppl to have come play.
