  13. Roots, Bungle & Theego – Conquest System is a great tune… top notch summer selection, shame the weather is so shit here in the Uk cos this would be sweet tunage for sittin on the beach checkin out the ladies…

    + I think everyone is sick of ‘big bad & heavy’ rinsed to death by every DJ.. should have come out months ago, too fed up with it to buy it now… weak !

    also Kiss Chase is too cheesy.. a poor tune by Total Science, the phoneheads tune is a bit gay too but u always end up nodding along… good music to introduce girls to Drum & Bass.

Stafe… you should browse the Dogs on Acid forums instead, you seem like the camo kind of guy, hope you enjoy your tech while the brazilians and everybody else listening to their music don’t take life too seriously and enjoy GREAT tunes like Roll that Stone. BTW are you saying that Cleveland Watkiss is gay because he can sing?

  16. Feeling this mix, liking the jumpier selection b/w the nice liquid tuneage ;) The original of The Burial is better anyways… Pitch it up to +8 & your away, logistics mix is still heavy though :) Big up Dj Roots. Peace.

  19. Is Jenna G’s LP on Bingo? Dumb question I’m sure but I never see it mentioned anywhere and it sounds ill.. As for this mix, I like alot of the tunes and the mixing isn’t sloppy but most of the tunes weren’t really mixed. Just kinda dropped in. And the Burial remix is on waaay too many mixes IMO.
    Nice job overall though

Sorry Woozie… didnt mean to insult u ladies… wasnt so much talkin bout dnb fans as much as new female recruits to drum&bass… they are much more likely to enjoy liquid as opposed to tech or neurofunk style d&b.. although sayin that my ex hated liquid.. but anyways Im not sure whats going on.. wasnt insinuating that anyone was gay just that roll that stone isnt really something most blokes would listen to, its a nice tune, but I wouldnt show my mates ha ha

    anyways im off to smash my laptop to pieces with a golf club as I can no longer take the constant errors and crashes which have rendered my 900 quid pc into a useless piece of shit, not even suitable to use as a paper weight.

  36. “wonderland” is nice imo…. . i think this mix is okay but Bungle’s mixes are far better…. also replying to forenzic “not all dnb is good” . tis many crap tunes released every week and the bigger producers on the bigger labels hold back to many releases (or just dont ever release them). if u look on redeye or chemical records or junos or something…each week tis like 20 new releases… of that maybe 1 is good…. few and far beween these days… …

  44. Side1 – er… its an ok tune… but it is decidedly naff… thats why, nothing to do with ‘looking macho’ or whatever.. I loved 3 bags full by nutone & general hospital by Syncopix.. both wicked tunes that have an element of cheese but Roll that Stone goes too far… one part of ur brain thinks its quite nice, but the other half is like ‘man this is weak’ roll that stone etc etc que mincing

    anyways it could just be me, Im skitsophrenic.

  50. All Jenna G tunes sound the same.. shes a good singer but her voice does start to grate after a few tunes!!!!.. why do the artists who produce the tunes get no recognition on the cover.. It should be A.I. feat Jenna G or D.Kay feat Jenna etc

  51. yeah strafe i agree with you on the jenna g. i think she has a fabulous voice but i have enough of her tunes and i believe her best work was with Uncut or “Lover” on soulr, i havent & wont be purchasing any of her solo releases. tis much like dianne charmagne from the metalheadz era…she did some stunning tunes but her recent bits have been well average. love the roots mix though… stunning…
    bring on bungles next mix please.
