  1. As far as this mix is concern, Dissident is “One hellva DJ”. But I don’t know guys the track selections at the end of the mix for some reason dissapointed me. :-( I thought this Vol. 4 was going to be a “drum funk” session. It was more like what boogie_woogie had said, a “soundsurfer” type of mix. I didn’t like the end tracks, but I thought Dissident was 100% smooth on mixing in and out with the transitions between each song. I still think this should have been an all “drum funk” session. :-(

I wasn’t really feeling these 6 tracks, but i thought Dissident had pulled off some tight ass transitions in between each song, to keep the flow of things. Even though i myself was dissapointed. This whole mix gets a “10 handsdown vote for being a very VERY GOOD verstile mix” :-)

Props to Dissident and the RU . [[Download this one guys!!!]]

  2. R2K+CMD:

To each their own. The last 3 tracks are some of my favorite recent tracks.

    Looking like a great mix… downloading now…

  3. I co-sign what soundsurfer said :-)

    Hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. argus, what you are talking about? there are given timings!! so it’s very simple to do cue when you have all timings!

  5. A good atmospheric mix of drumfunkage – we need more proper drumfunk mixes on here… not just mixes that have crazy aphex twin style beat choppage, but the quality style of paradox/alaska, Seba, and fanu etc.. this mix was ok but the last few tunes are a bit crap really.. too much electronic tomfollery and not enough funky drums
