  1. Gotta love the old school gems….did they have to use the pic where Conrad was pickin his nose though???

  2. so this is the infamous one nation track! damn, what a tune… why didn’t this come out?

  3. Not to hot on Conrad personally… Can understand why pepole like him, laid back flow, knows when to shut up ;) But I can never forgive him for that so called hip-hop project he did in the 90’s (93/95 i think). Was’nt even the fact that another d&b artist had tried to break into the hip-hop market, just that it was so poor it hurt! Anyways, still give the man bare props! Better mc thatn me! ;) Peace.

  4. Thanks for putting this up.
Education from Cold Doc Scott La Roc!
Back in the day a man could lose a leg for passing round his mixtapes(!)
    Favourite nasty habit>>Last Action Hero

  5. STFU! Eh? No need for that you arrogant bastard! Just not feeling it thats all, if you read my comment its not all negativeity… What are you the mans gayboy fanclub? Fuck off :(

  6. Well really, its just rude! There really was no need for that… How you gonna tell someone to stfu on the net anyway?

  7. conrad is alright. but with dnb mcs…. i pose them this question… could they hold there own if they battled Kool Keith??

  8. I thought this mix by Doc Scott was fucking AWESOME!!!!!!!

I mean he layed down previous tracks of “Acid Jazz” Drum n’ Bass with a lot of Saxophone sounds in between tracks. I wish i was there to see him play in Berlin, Germany.

Yep this mix go’s way back in the day when Dn’B was fucking going in the right direction with things like “Jazz Music” for example.

BUT THE ONLY THING THAT FUCK UP THE LISTENING PART OF THIS MIX WAS………….MC Conrad. :-(

  9. I mean I don’t understand why DJ’s especially “British DJ’s” get such wack ass Emcee’s to be a front man for them. 90% of them suck in Britian not to mention the fact that “most of them can’t even fucking say a rhyme”

if they life depended on it……….

Please don’t take this shit too personall………But the only best “British MC’s” that I’ve ever seen worthy enough to touch a microphone is………….

    MC Stevie Hyper D
    MC Navitgator
MC Dynamite just to name a few………

I know there is better MC’s outthere who can really “Spit Hot Shit” on a microphone without repeating the same shit all over again like “MC Conrad” did.

I wish “MC Stevie Hyper D” was there to battle “MC Conrad” then well see who’s the better EMCEE!!!!!

Shit they could have even hired an “American EMCEE” who had worthy Skills.

But I guess when you come from a “Western Continent” that has the greatest EMCEE’s

There no other countrie in the world that can challenge you!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. @ Akai

If it’s about battle of the MC’s then you’re missing the point.
    THIS AINT HIP HOP
Conrad had an original style, not to everyones taste, but more subtle than any of the MCs you namecheck.

  11. I agree and disagree with “rondema”. Conrad is ok as he has his own flow/style, plus creates his own vibes . But u must remember that MC stands for MASTER OF CEREMONIES (whether it is hip hop, dnb, or even ur wedding). There is nothing worse than most of these dnb mcs that remind me of fatman scoop. Some of the dnb mcs should be called “hype men”. As all they do is try to hype the crowd, talk there same few raps over n over n over (saying there own mc name a few 100 times), most cant flow and to top if off the mc over some sweet vocal tunes. WACK!!

Classic jungle mcing to me in BASSMAN and TRIGGA… back in 98 they were the masters: “ladies keep you legs tighly closed”

  12. Only time you’ll see me agreeing with the rebirth of boom selcetor but… Yeah Stevie Hyper ;) Fucking legend! Standard procedure

  13. I understand that “Doc Scott & MC Conrad” is not a battle “Rondema.”

But you see the true meaing of the word “MC” doesn’t necessarily mean “MASTER OF CEREMONIES.”

Sorry “Vote to Lift Ban” but that doesn’t sound like the correct termology for the word “MC.” It sounds more like a term you use when your doing a wedding ceremonie for the bride & groom or something?????

    Correction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The term “MC” comes from the word “MASTER OF CROWD CONTROL” or “MASTER OF COMPOSERY”

“Meaing to control one’s atmosphere and the crowd of movement along with it…….”

Yes Emcees can compose too, because they can give instructions or commads to there fellow “DJ’s” who they play more like a instrument rather than a indiviual. Sort of like a “Orhcastra Symphony” with a composing conductor

“there many different termologies out there about the word but don’t get all pissed off because you may not know the correct one.”

    It’s okay……….. :-)

As long as people in general know who the “MC” really is it really doesn’t matter what termology they call him as long as they get what his mission is about.

Which is to control the crowds with up most “aggression” and to be “fresh” with styles at all times.

  14. I know the true meaing of the word “MC” because i myself is an EMCEE. And yes i do freestyle on a periodic basises. So it’s very important for me to know where my “ROOTS” come from when I step up and spit on that mic on stange or anywhere I go.

    PEACE…………Mr. Akai :-)

  15. @ MR AKAI. You are a talented guy, making tunes & mc’ing. Where can I hear you work?

    Peace………. MR AKAI LOVER

  16. @ MR AKAI. You are a talented guy, making tunes & mc’ing. Where can I hear your work?

    Peace………. MR AKAI LOVER

  17. Well thanx for the weird support who ever you are……………

and i hope this is not a prank joke……!!!!!!!!!

But currently right now i have alot of tracks that i have made, but the only problem is that i’m trying to get in a professional studio. Where i can futher developed the research on the music i do.

I’m sort of what you call a Music Theorist where i mess around with alot of different elements.

I do Underground Hip-Hop, Acid Jazz, and Drum n’ Bass music. I have lots of various tracks that i have produce that are Drum n’ Bass “Acid Jazz” and “Jungle”. But right now i’m look for a good college to go to so i can finish my “Sound Theory” that i’m working on.

I can find the right DMC Srcatch Battle DJ who can play Underground Hip-Hop and Drum n’ Bass at the same time………..THEN THAT WOULD BE WONDERFULL!!!!! :-)

But I have yet to find a unknown “DJ” who can srcatch on “SIX TURNTABLES!!!!”

This is very important part of they way i’m trying express my music!!!!!!

But once i able to make my own Record Company i’ll be able to push my side of Acid Jazz music and Hip-Hop with Dn’B!!!!!

But let me stop……ranting and keep supporting Dn’B for what it truely is…..

    WORLDWIDE MUSIC…………….!!!!!!! :-)

  18. ALSO ON MORE LAST THING I FORGOT TO MENTION………….

If your a “DMC Scratch Battle DJ” or know someone who can srcatch and mix on Six Turntables!!!!!!!!

Plz post some of your works on this website so i can see how good you are!!!!!!

Cause i’m a EMCEE looking for a “LETHAL DJ” who has a deadly style of mix!!!!

    Peace………….Mr. Akai :-)

  19. AKAI you are a nuttah.. you may not be the “doom selector” but you are a fucking idiot. No one will ever take you seriously when you post this shit.

  20. -> Mr. Akai: Can I please please hear something of you? You got me curious. I will give you ftp access if you can come up with some Rhymes, Lyrics, Recordings, Tunes by yourself. Anything will do.

If not – I want to hear a waterproof excuse or STFU.

  21. I know this is kinda off topic again………….And I don’t to further piss anyone off but.

” Tim ” if read this message plz contact me at FrankieChuck@yahoo.com so we can talk further i’m really intrested on what your insights are!!!!! :-)

And yes i do have some tracks that I have stored away, the only problem is ” Tim” I don’t have a website of my own to post some of my material. But if anyone’s intrested in helping me show you guys what i’m kind of “Acid Jazz” i’m working on I myself would be greatfull of the help from fellow musicians!!!!

I would love to post some “Links on the some of my own music” so if you have any access to this website to help me post the material “Tim” write me back at my email address!!!!!

    Peace………..Mr. Akai

  22. My friends and I have been battering this set for months!
I love every tune Doc Scott plays on this mix and I always have done. Im not using the word ‘love’ for no reason. It reminds me of the time when our music was consistently good. Conrad for me, compliments the set perfectly and makes it all the more listenable. Thanks for sharing!

  23. mang PLEEz I been praying for MC JUSTICE and doc scott my whole life!!!
It’s not this mc conrad berlin 1996 mix is it? cus I know he says justice on this melodic tape that put me and my homies on the edge of our seats for the next decade.
