“DJ Luxy discovered drum n bass in 1998 (while she was more into NY HxC.), during “Delice” parties of Dj Sti and Delekta in her native town near Toulouse in the south of France. It was like a thunderbolt!!! She quickly started to move every week ends in Toulouse to enjoy bigger dnb parties. Then in 2001, she decided to be a part of it, and bought her first turntables and Renegade Hardware vinyl.

The following year (she moved to Toulouse to study photography), she met Dj Keissy, who invited her to play next to her, Peyo and Redeyes as “Audiabrasive crew” in a monthly residency @ the “PV” . Then she got booked in other bars and was invited to play on the local radio stations (FMR and Radio Campus).

During summer 2003, she spent one month and a half in London where she played twice with her friend Keissy on the internet radio station UK Rumble on Dj SLB’s show.

2004: residency @ “Classico” in Toulouse with Keissy , “Toulouse Massive”, “Maizon Liquid” in Paris, “Le Scarabe” in Quimperle, “Summer Rock Festival” in south of France and radio shows on local stations, “Rewind” kasabass party in Paris, “Takeway girlz party” Paris…
2005: “I love jungle” @ Glaz’ art Paris, “dancefloor tactics” in Lille, “storytronik” in quimperle

Her style is quite eclectic: jump-up, liquid, also harder stuffs, always devoted to dancefloor!

She played at the sides of:Keissy, Peyo, Redeyes, Kush, Brooks, 3Key, SLB (London), Mc J-Swif (London), Youthman, Sti, Carlito, Sweed, Masterkush, Elisa do brazil, Otis, Marika & Lady Late, Rom-1, Kolsik, Hugabass.

She has just finished 3 years of studies in a school of photography. She lives and works in Paris as a photo assistant since September 2004.”

  33. je ne sais sais pas tres bien exprime moi mais je veux dire que la music et le mix sont tres sympa et gentil la bas mais je trouve que c’est peut etre pas pretention mais vaniteux et fier parce que tu ne veux pas entendre les critiques de toi et ici aussi dans le site(pardon!)mais je dis ta musique est tres bien et c’est le tout principal et ca c’est complimen pour toi! je suis aussi une fille dans la music comme toi!

  34. eels, i do accept critics when they are construtive, when it is just “it is shit..blablabla”, i don t accept because it is unfair!!! it s too easy to say “this is shit” without arguing…i understand that my selection is not the taste of everybody and not very original but is it a reason to be rude????!!!! i m just defending myself, is it being vanitous and proud?????? argh….

But there isn’t any and she still leaves the blah blah there for everybody to read which is quite demasking the mental state of the contributors.
    All you guys do is chatter along like some dissatisfied squirrels. Move your a..es to the dancefloor and stop thinking with your d…’s for an evening. If you are able, use your brain as well from time to time.

    There is a lot of fear behind the pseudo masculine do-wah.

    To you luxy: good effort! Like your mix a lot. Quite a pressure you put on there. Cannot give you technical advise (all the famous dj super heroes above may laugh now) but from my feeling it needs even more drive to hold up completely. Is that any help…no, I guess. I’ve tried.
