8 Picks for November 2014

Yes, there have been loads of great releases and recordings floating about in the past two months. Here is to make up for the slack – some drum and bass recordings that we found more than just noteworthy.

1. Presha & MC LowQui @ Sun and Bass 2014 – deep and deadly, lots of proper riddims. 2. The Ivy Cast 003 – the trio of Sabre, Stray and Halogenix present their third installment. 3. Goldie Live at Recycle, Berlin – 3 Years of Gretchen – Two hours of Mr. Goldie rolling out the heavyweight Headz-Style. 4. DJ Randall in Session on Origin FM 10/2014 – The man that absolutely killed it for me @ Sun and Bass lashing out the beats like there is no tomorrow. Watch out for the upcoming releases on his Label MAC2. 5. DJ/MC Stamina for FABRICLIVE, Bukem in Session – Not only one of my favourite MCs but easily one of my favourite selectors, too. Stamina knows his beats. 6. Bryan G Live from MOS Radio @ Sun and Bass 2014 – Mr. V Recordings, Bryan G absolutely smashed it with a mixture of uplifting liquid and oldschool cuts. 7. Response Guestmix and Interview for Kmag – Excellent as per usual. 8. Digital in the mix for FABRICLIVE/Metalheadz – Watch out for new Digital releases popping up left and right.
