just use that firetune if your experiencing slow browsing.. in most cases no need to tune the fox

Just go search for prefs.js on in your homedirectory (it’s in a hidden dir), make sure Firefox is closed and edit it with a text editor…
Or surf to about::config and change and add where necessary.

remember to backup your searchplugins in “C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins” when you update your browser or just put them in your profile on “C:\Documents and Settings\\Application data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxx.default\searchplugins” and they won’t get lost ;)
